What Causes Leg Pains?
Pain in the legs on walking or at night , Non- Healing Leg Wound / Ulcer or Pigmentation and Varicose Veins are only symptoms of an arterial or Venous disease.The disease could be a blockade in the arterial blood supply or an improper venous blood drainage. To analyse the causes of Leg Pains, we must consider first the simplified structure of the Leg or Lower Limb. And then go from outside to inside to know what all can cause the pain. So from the surface to deep within, each limb upper or lower, has the following structures: • Skin • Sub-Cutaneous tissues with fat, areolar tissue, cutaneous nerves and superficial venous system • Deep Fascia • Muscles • Nerves • Arteries • Deep Venous System • Lymphatics • Bones Each of these structures can suffer from any disease, and any of these disease can cause pain.
