What causes incomplete transmissions?

0

A. The following are reasons why we may show an incomplete transmission: • Transmission was canceled by a user (by pressing the CLEAR/CANCEL button) • Someone tried to use the phone that the clock is connected to. (Note: Other devices, such as burglar alarms, will use the phone late at night to report to their monitoring stations.) • If the line has Call Waiting, and someone calls on the line during a transmit, the connection will often be interrupted by the call waiting beep. See your clock’s manual for instructions on disabling Call Waiting. • Noise or static on the line can cause transmission problems.
