What causes illness/dis-ease in people?
Feelings and emotions are an integral part of who we are, both in body and in mind. Unhealthy, negative emotions affect the body and mind adversely by hindering the flow of healthy energy. Such emotions need to be released and balanced with healthy emotions. When this does not happen, when these emotions are dealt with through fear or avoidance, unhealthy emotions build up within the body, becoming toxic and leading to disease. By realizing and embracing our emotions, we are enriched by the innumerable lessons they teach us. It is also important to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. The most important tools to maintaining wellness are self-love, and respecting the needs of the physical body and mind.
