What causes homosexuality? Are people born gay or lesbian, or is it a choice?
No one knows for sure what determines anyone’s sexual orientation. There is no known cause for homosexuality, just as there is no known cause for heterosexuality. Although all people have a sexual orientation, only in the case of people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, or Questioning (LGBTQ) is it considered to be the result of a personal choice.
