What causes fatigue, being thirsty and weight gain?
Yes very similar symptoms to mine, some days Im 3kgs heavier than the day before other days Im down 3kgs, some days feeling bloated other days not, I do know that feeling thirsty can be a symptom of type 2 diabetes, might pay to get a second opinion, because lets face it western medicine is not geared towards curing a lot, they make more money by selling pills, and those pills need more pills to counteract the side effects and on it goes. Each time you pay the doc they earn more money. Sounds like youve got a sluggish digestive system. Id try more exercise and get the abs moving around a bit more, more leg exercises might help to keep things moving and Ive been told that 6 or 7 small meals or snacky things a day helps to keep folks digestive process happening.
Hi there, Your symptoms are really non specific- that is, they could be from a lot of things, some serious, some not so… yes, diabetes was my first thought. Another responder brought up thyroid disease and hypothyroidism in particular can cause fatigue, cold intolerance, weight gain, constipation, dry/ cool skin etc…if severe it can cause fluid retention just prior to developing a state called myxedema coma, but needless to say, if your typing on Yahoo- this later state isn’t you. You need to see a physican and I always recommend getting a primary care physician (if you don’t already have one) that can follow you for all your needs- incuding these. This is particulary important because they will see you for these complaints, and inevitably order tests. By returning to the same doctor they can follow up these results and the make a diagnosis or order additional tests to explore other options revealed by these inital tests. Often making a diagnosis takes several visits, especially on
