What causes do the Greeks raise money for?
Each sorority and fraternity has a national philanthropy and some have a local philanthropy. Take Alpha Omicron Pi sorority as an example. Their national philanthropy is Arthritis Research, while their local philanthropy is Breast Cancer Awareness. In addition to their philanthropies, AOPi joined together with the men of Sigma Alpha Epsilon to raise money for Child Assault Prevention and My Sisters Place. All members of the Greek community worked together to raise money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters during Homecoming. Also during Homecoming, the Salvation Army, My Sisters Place, and Good Works submitted wish lists. The Greeks donated their own things to make these wish lists come true.
