What Causes a System Error?
There are many different reasons why you will see error messages on your computer. Sometimes they are caused by software that is incompatible with the operating system. You may run into this if you have an older version of Windows (like 95 or 98) and you install a new application that was designed for XP or above. Sometimes errors happen because your PC has been attacked by spyware, adware, or some other type of malicious code. At other times, you may get a networking error…and the list goes on. It’s worth noting here that system errors and their codes are different than Internet browser errors or those caused by problems with device drivers. Some Internet and driver messages may contain the same or similar numbers as system errors, but they are unique problems and must be handled in a different way. So be sure you read the message you get carefully. If you see anything about a device driver you should check the Uniblue Driver Library and consider using DriverScanner as a tool to help
