The ‘Run’ light on the CM module will blink for only a couple of reasons • The termination switches on the EM modules are not set correctly. • The CM is being used with a PLC that does not support it such as the D2-230, D2-240, or D2-250. • The wiring is incorrect or bad. • One of the EM modules is bad or has lost it’s firmware due to power quality issues. • The CM module is bad or has lost it’s firmware due to power quality issues. • The Base is bad.
