Jimmy Wall owned the No. 81 Modified Division car that Pack drove, and he also owns the Sportsman Division car driven by Gene Pack, Brian’s father. “It’s about as bad as you can get,” Jimmy Wall said. “By Friday evening, I think everybody in the world knew about it. The fan favorites were the Dukes of Hazzard and the “Pac Man” scheme. On Friday afternoon July 25 at approximately 1:45, Brian lost control of his motorcycle on Pinehall Road in Walkertown, NC. His injuries from the accident were fatal. No matter what track you were at, you could always count on Brian to lighten the mood. He was easygoing out of his race car, but when he started that engine, look out, as he was a contender more times than not.
