What caused the death of a man at Palisades Mall last night?
Police suspect no one in Palisades Mall death, the incident occurred around 7:00 P.M when a 20-year-old Rockland resident apparently jumped from the fourth-floor fence of the mall, unidentified man landed on the bottom floor that lead to the parking garage according to Clarkstown Police. A yellow trap was placed over the body that lay on the floor of Palisades Mall with its limbs spread out awkwardly near the foot of an escalator; police say that the Palisades Mall death looks like an apparent suicide, the man who appeared to be alone at the time was pronounced dead at the spot. Clarksontown Police Lt. Glenn Dietrich said “We’re looking at it as a suicide”. A Rockland man in his early 20s died last night after jumping over a fourth-floor railing at the Palisades Center mall in an apparent suicide, Clarkstown police said. The man landed on the bottom floor of the mall, which leads to the parking garage, police said. A yellow tarp was placed over the body, which lay sprawled at the foot of an escalator.
