What casues poverty in Africa?
As some one who is from Africa I will try my best to explain. 1. It starts from injustice, even though the colonials might have done some good things for the continent there was also a lot of terrible things done. Like for example in Nigeria they split up the country into ethnic groups that had no contact with each other and created a new form of hostility. And a complex that made us believe that white was better. 2. A lot of ravaging of natural resources and a crumbling infrastructure. 3. Because of the crumbling infrastructure nobody wants to put the effort into help fix it, because they see no point. 4. Corruption. The west supported leaders in Africa who had fooled them and were nothing but tyrants and thieves. And created a culture of greed and selfishness, that is still evident today 5.
