What careers are available to a person with a degree in Sociology?

ALL careers! The world is your breadbasket! Seriously, my undergraduate degree is in Sociology, and I can’t imagine a more helpful degree to me personally. Understanding how people interact helps you in every field. Also my husband, my daughter, and my ex all have degrees in Sociology. We all have a strong desire to understand the people around us. We are all also business owners, and it helps us in our businesses. Now to round it out you need experience or further education in some specialty; I chose business (which I think of as mostly “applied sociology”). You may also consider social work, social psychology, or a totally unrelated field. My ex also taught Sociology for many years at the college level.
