What car fuse would blow if your systems remote wire and power wire touched?

Usually none. If the remote wire shorts to the power lead it will most often just turn your amps on and not let them shut off. The remote lead from your head unit should be protected by a diode internally to keep it from damaging the radio if it shorts. That not withstanding, if yours quit working after such an event, it probably took out a transistor inside the radio. If so it will need to go in for repair. Some but not all radio’s come with a fuse on the remote lead. If yours is so equipped it can be found in the remote line a few inches from the radio.
