A simple rule of thumb states that a 12V system needs a minimum battery capacity of around 20% of the inverter capacity, while the corresponding number for 24V inverters is 10%. So, the battery capacity required for a 12V Mass Combi 2000 (100A) is therefore 400 Ah, and that needed for a 24V Mass Combi 2000 (60A) is 200 Ah.
