What can be done in the I.T. Services Computer Labs?
The lab is designed to support teaching and learning at the University of Windsor. Installing software on the workstations (PC’s) is prohibited. • What should I bring with me to work in the I.T. Services Computer Labs? Bring your validated student card. It is also recommended that you bring your own storage media (ie. floppy disks, zip disks, CD-R’s etc.) because all files saved on the workstations (PC’s) will be deleted. Regular letter size paper (8 1/2″ X 11″) is available for printing. There is a per page cost for printing and you will need to purchase a print card. Click here for details about purchasing a print card. • Can I purchase floppy disks, CD-R’s or CD-RW’s in the I. T. Services Computer Labs? NO. Currently, these are not available for purchase in the labs, however, they can be purchased in the University of Windsor Bookstore. • Can I bring food or drinks into the I.T. Services Computer Labs? NO food or drinks (including water) are allowed in the I.T. Services Computer Lab
