What can you say about the separation of church and state vs. churchs moral obligation?
As far as I understand, the government and religious institutions are to be kept separate and independent from each other. However, it is said that the church has moral obligation to intervene to state whenever government is performing against the teaching of the church. It seems to me that there is inconsistency and overlapping. Id appreciate your views on this.
