What can we expect in 2009 Supercross?
With every year, and 2009 included, you know what to expect from the top guys. Stewart’s going to be really fast; sometimes there’s an issue of whether he’s pushing it too hard, but I think he’s learned to be a little smarter. I don’t think that you can count on him running away in points like he used to. Then there’s Reed, who’s pretty much rock-solid every week, certainly consistent and also very fast. Windham was pretty fast last year as well; then there’s going to be the people you’re not counting on who have been doing their homework and pushing it to get to that next level. There are veterans like Ferry to the younger guys like Josh Hill. You just never know what to expect. That’s the great thing about a new series. My expectations are to be up front and to build on what I did last year. I know where I need to be, and where I expect to be. We’ll just see how it all pans out.
