What can the user do to assess whether the problem is a hardware or software/user issue?
A user may call the IBM or Wareforce Call Centers when experiencing technical difficulties. The technician will attempt to troubleshoot or diagnose the problem over the phone and should be able to provide a solution if the problem is hardware related. Please read the section on “What is the role of IBM and Wareforce?”In many instances, problems are caused by installed applications and incompatibility issues related to software updates, driver installations, viruses or spyware. Please check with the school’s Technology Coordinators (TCs) to determine support procedures at individual schools.
