The iPod input on this interface requires a specific cable (XIAH-IPC – optional). It has an apple-licensed connector that plugs into the bottom of your iPod. (Not compatible with Shuffle or First Gen 10GB and 15GB.) It allows you to control the iPod from the factory radio OR the iPod and displays text on the radio too. It also charges the iPod while it is connected.
