What can the BCU (Bandwidth Control Unit) control?
The BCU can control the access and bandwidth of anything it can see. It will capture the MAC addresses of every device on its local net, through hubs Switches, and other bridges. It will not see or capture the MACs of devices behind a router, only the port of the router that is connected to the BCU’s local net. Devices behind a non-NAT router can only be controlled by IP Address.
