What can the attorney do to stop lender harassment?
Once you are represented by counsel then your lender should only communicate with your attorney. Under FDCPA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you have the right to contact your lender preferably in writing and preferably via certified mail and demand that they only communicate with you in writing and that would stop the phone calls.
