Contributions from the Special Event Tourism Fund may be used for and applied against: rights fees to the sanctioned national or international body holding the rights to the event, marketing costs, local transportation costs, site/venue costs, permits, volunteer costs and professional services. Up to $5,000 can also be used for bid deposit and preparation costs.
