What can people do to preserve the rainforest?
For these reasons rain forests are very important to protect, and some of the reasons people don’t protect them is greed, for the sake of peoples jobs, and for areas to live in. Large and small companies don’t want to cut down less trees because then they’d have to drop workers (so the workers don’t want to stop cutting down the rainforests eithier) and they wouldn’t make as much money. Rainforests also take up a large amount of space, so building companies and people want the rain forests cut down so they can have a place to live, and houses to build. For example You know China has a huge population, as we speak their draining many of their wetlands so people have areas to live in. Event hough wetlands are a very important aspect of the water cycle.
