If your home is on a sewage system, the following can safely be poured down a drain, followed by flush water: – Disinfectant – Expired medicine – Rust remover – Hair relaxer – Water-based glue – Drain cleaner – Aluminum cleaner – Window cleaner – Photographic chemicals All other liquid home products should be disposed of in a landfill or by a hazardous waste contractor.
