What can kill cockroaches?
Homeowners and scientists alike have been looking for ways to get rid of cockroaches for many hundreds of years. Now people generally use chemical pesticides, but ingenious methods of capturing and starving them have also been used. However, there are other insects that feed on cockroaches, and some breeds of wasps can help keep the population under control. Humans used to kill cockroaches for medicinal purposes as well. Writings dated from as early as the 1st century AD suggest that medicine made from ground-up cockroaches can cure earache and even help treat open wounds.
