What can kids do in Monterey?
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the most unique aquariums in the world, and a great place to spend the day. Dennis the Menace Park is a short walk from the Marina with lots to do and paddle boat rentals on Lake El Estero are located close by. The Monterey Sports Center is right across the street from the Marina and features a swimming pool with a water slide, basketball, tennis, and aerobics classes for Mom and Dad. The Monterey “Path of History” starts at the foot of Fisherman’s Wharf with the Old Custom House. Waterfront businesses rent kayaks, bicycles and rollerblades for a day on the recreation trail.
