What can ice cores tell us about current and future climate change?
Ice cores can tell us the temperature, carbon dioxide concentration and other atmospheric variables over the past 400 000 years (at least from the Vosok ice core data). They can show us trends and cycles but they cannot tell us anything about the future, especially now that we’ve changed the natural cycle by adding our own greenhouse gases. I explain it in detail at http://www.howtopowertheworld.com/what-i… Enjoy!
