What can I use Inputlog for?
Inputlog is a logging program that enables you to record every keystroke, mouse event and dictated speech input. The program is mainly used in writing research (e.g. developmental studies, cognitive writing processes etc.) and offers different types of descriptive analyses. However, because the program logs data in all programs that run in a Windows environment it can be a useful research tool in other domains as well. For instance, usability research (e.g. evaluation of web form completion), programming research (e.g. modularity in programming environments), ergonomic studies (e.g. effect of keyboard lay outs) or typewriting studies (e.g. analysis of typewriting skills).
