You should get some toy snakes and strategically place them in different spots in the garden. It will keep the birds away and provide a few laughs if anyone should think they are real.

Owls are naturally enemies of small birds. Use an owl decoy. They stand about 15″ tall. But get one with a swivel head so there is some motion in the breeze. And relocate the owl frequently so the birds don’t think it’s a fixture. Good luck!

2 suggestions : Attach CD in your trees/bushes and as they move with the wind they’ll scare birds away. Another trick is to put a statue of a predator in you garden (such as a howl for example) but you need to move it from its place on a regular basis or birds will get use to it.
