What can I say about Damiana?
Well, first of all I should say that I know her from online communication and through occasional interactions in the flesh rather than from really close interaction. That said, even from this distance the woman is FIERCE. I mean that in all the best ways. She is passionate, opinionated, unapologetic, and lusty. She is magickal and flows with energy. She is bright and calculating, and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. There was a time when I saw the fierceness but not the person behind it. When I approached her honestly and told her of my former beliefs and the change that had occurred in them (as I got to a place where I understood her better) she didn’t act defensive or upset with me at all. She seemed happy that I was putting it out there like it was and telling her about the shift in my understanding. There are very few people with a sense of appreciation for that level of honesty. She has my deep respect. She is a Dark Goddess, and frankly that sort is always my favorite. Celdae Posted
