What can i put in my daughters 18th Birthday Card (Verse Wise)?
I really like this poem I read on a forum once from a poster called “Her Majesty” I used parts of it in my 13 year old niece’s card … I changed the mother and daughter to aunt and niece though. You are a very pretty girl, at times you’re very caring It’s then I really like you,our mother and daughter sharing But other times you get me down, I’m sad to say that’s true At times I cry to sleep at night because of what you do Your room I’ve given up on,it’s like a garbage heap The dustbin is much tidier,I don’t know how you sleep In such mess and clutter,there’s no room on the floor And the clothes, the shoes and make-up, are rolling out the door The time that you spend surfing, all day upon the Net I could build a house or two, even furnish them, my pet But when it comes to birthdays I think of that time when You were sweet like sugar candy and I long for way back then So hope this birthday’s special,and not like all the rest Let’s have a nice time together, and make this one the best!
