What can i feed my African Cichlid so that it will get big?
Like some other good input you got in here, just saying African Cichlid doesn’t say much. The diversity in the African species is so vast, you have a great mix of herbivores, omnivores and even some true carnivores. Growth no matter how well your diet given, is still in large part going to depend on the genetics of the fish as well. And one key point that Monster told should be more said. Among the two biggest popular groups, one being Haps, the other what Monster said, Mbuna, the Mbuna typically do not attain much larger sizes as it is and they are by in large, substrate dwellers as well. In order to give you an effective suggestion on what you might feed, it’s in your best interest to get as specific as possible and provide your species. I tend to always elect to give a spiralina coated flake as a base food, and even if you have true carnivores, that’s not going to hurt them.
