What can I expect to occur during installation inprocessing?
A. During your first 3-5 days on the installation you will complete a mandatory installation inprocessing. Your first stop will be at the Fort Carson Welcome and Inprocessing Center located at Bldg 1218, Room 136 located at Wetzel Ave and Ellis St. Hours of operation are as follows: Mon –Thur: 0730-1115; 1300-1500; Fri: 0830-1115; 1300-1500. If you report after 1500 report to Bldg 1013 on Wetzel Ave between Long St and O’Connell Blvd to sign into the installation. You must have a minimum of 10 copies of PCS orders and the original signed DA 31 Leave Form to be turned in at your initial inprocesssing. If you have been approved permissive TDY, you must have an installation stamp from the Housing Services Office on your original DA 31 Leave Form that you submit during inprocessing for finance to properly process your leave.
