What can I expect out of an upgraded airsoft gun?
Upgrading an airsoft gun involves replacing the stock spring, motor, gears, bushings and cylinder/piston assembly with hi-performance replacements that are capable of dramatically increasing the guns performance. Upgraded springs are designated by an increased percentage rating that begins at 120% (i.e. 20% stronger than a stock spring) and runs all the way up to 200%. These springs, when used in conjunction with a reinforced mechbox and a high performance motor, increase the guns fps to 450 and extend the maximum effective range. The increased durability offered by upgraded parts can also extend the lifespan of an AEG.
