What can I expect from Kol Tzedek’s High Holiday Services?
Kol Tzedek services are done mostly in Hebrew, with a strong focus on communal singing. We additionally have devotional readings in English, kavannot (interpretations) from our rabbi, and opportunities for reflection and conversation. Our torah services involve group aliyot, so people will have the opportunity to have an honor to the torah in honor of a special moment in their lives or goal for the holidays. We use the Kol HaNeshama Machzor (High Holiday prayerbook) which has the traditional text, some transliteration, and wonderful readings and notes under the line.
