You currently need to install a microformat reader in your web browser in order to take advantage of microformats on TripIt. With a microformat reader installed, the microformats on TripIt enable you to easily copy items in your trip itinerary (such as an air or hotel booking) to your calendar application. This is particularly useful if your calendar application doesn’t support our iCal feed. There are other fun uses for microformats too.
