Active involvement in the AKC parent club will give Chinook owners a leg-up in getting familiar with the AKC and smooth the transition. The AKC believes involvement in AKC events is a good way to learn the ropes, as is joining an AKC all-breed or performance club and volunteer to work at shows and events.
