What can i do to help my dogs sores ?
This is because there is grain in his dog food and a huge amount of skin problems are caused by grain. Grain creates acidity hence the itch. I will paste some stuff from my archives on this, however before I do I will recommend a cream. I use Sodocrem for all manner of problems, its a nappy/diaper cream and it contains zinc. Any nappy/diaper cream will do as long as there is a high % of zinc it will heal and soothe, it is also antiseptic.To ensure that your dog does not lick it off before it sinks in use this either before a walk or before you feed him. Or you could give him a RAW bone from the butchers. I have learnt by my mistakes. My present dog had dreadful problems because of the food which I gave her, I experimented with dog food, I tried raw diets, cooked diets and over the years I tried various dog foods.
