What can I do outside in montreal this time of year with my girlfreind?
In general, March and April are very blah times for outdoor events. You never know if the day is going to turn cold or get really warm. There is still snow on the ground, or it is melting and you get a lot of dirt, mud, and thawing doggy doo from people who did not poop-n-scoop all winter. My suggestion for this time of year would be a walk on Mount Royal, or you can bike along any of the many cleared bicycle paths. For something romantic, go to the old port and walk around or take a Caleche ride around that area. Some of the open terrace cafes and restaurants are starting to get their tables out at lunch time, and so stopping for a coffee and brioche may be something to do downtown or in the square at the old port.
