After you have corrected the condition(s) outlined in the Notice of Cancellation, you should mail a letter to the Appeals Unit of New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association, 100 William Street, New York, NY 10038. The letter should specify the reason for the appeal and must contain the policy number, location of property, the name and telephone number(s) of the person(s) to be contacted for an inspection. You may include photographs or documents to support your appeal. You can fax the appeal to 212-208-9861, or e-mail us at fairplan@nypiua.com.
