What can I do at Sluis Van Shipyards?
You can upgrade any existing ship, you can custom build a sluis ship, and you can store ships. Upgrading means to boost the speed, shield strength, and hull strength of any ship by 10%. Each of these can be done a total of three times. Cost of upgrading is based off of the ship’s current stats, so each subsequent upgrade costs more. Building a sluis ship means to completely build a ship from the ground up, you choose all of the components. See ship_construction for a detailed walk-through of how this is done. Storing a ship means to save it to file and remove it from the game. Later on you can retrieve your ship, which brings it back into the game. Storing a ship allows you to retrieve it after you have left, over a reboot, etc. A mud crash should not affect ships in storage. You can store multiple ships, but each time you retrieve a ship you are charged for it. This price is based off of the ship’s stats, so storing a decked out capital will cost more than storing your sunday driving
