Once you decide to set up an eTwinning partnership there are two basic things to be done: find a topic and find a partner. Ideally, the topic should be flexible enough to adapt it to as many subjects as possible in order to increase the potential of making the action a pedagogical experience for the whole school. You should make your criteria of finding a partner clear before looking for one – if you do not already have one. Do you have any preferences for a matching age group, language, country etc.? You should prepare your project thoroughly considering organisational aspects such as holidays, class trips, timetable, availability of the computer lab and others. Try to motivate as many colleagues as possible and also think of cross-curricular teaching. And, most of all, don’t forget your students whom this action should be an exciting and enriching experience.
