What a tyrant! She obviously has never done the work you’re doing, so she has no idea how much she is piling onto you. It doesn’t sound as if she has done anything particularly immoral or illegal, so going over her head is not going to help you much. If you leave, you will ultimately be replaced by two people because no one single person will agree to do all that you are currently burdened with. Then you can laugh and say I told you so. But it will be after you’re gone that “they” figure it out, for sure. Unfortunately, the work load has crept up slowly. It’s like boiling a frog. If you raise the temperature slowly, the frog will not notice until it’s too late. So the work has gone up, and up, and up — now — boom, you’re boiling!!! Your best bet is to just find another job or another team to be in at the same school. It’s SO important to be around people you enjoy working with and she is never going to help you, is she? Your other alternative is to wait her out and hope she leaves or
