What can I do about a continued failed ignition switch on a 2003 Saturn Ion?

I have a 2003 Saturn Ion that continues to have the ignition switch replaced every two years since I have had the car. I go thru ignition switches more than brakes. Frustrating! A: Get an automotive locksmith to replace it with the aftermarket replacement that addresses this issue. Dealer can only keep putting the same OEM ignition in the vehicle, they cannot use aftermarket.
