What can i demonstrate in five steps in speech class that is easy and affordable?
Anything can be spoken about which is easy, affordable, and can be toted on the train. What is required is confidence which is gained by structuring the speech. Use guide cards if allowed and required. I once gave a speech on “How to shop at swap meets, which you call boot sales. I started by wearing a fur coat which i had found at a sale. It got the audience’s attention and it was a go. But a good speech can be delivered on the subject of threading a sewing needle , while overcoming vision limitations. It is all in breaking down the process, explaining in basic terms and then getting a serious focus, while speaking with conviction. It is a given that all are nervous, just pick something, break down the process, using your text book for explaination and instruction on how. Dress in proper attire like something a sales person would wear, because your are selling a concept in your speech.
