At this time, you can configure the following for the VisiMessage Service: There is only one supported backing store adapter type, which is JDBC. To use the JDBC adapter, you have to set the type of JDBC driver (depending on the Database you wish to support), the location of the database, the login name and password and the size of the connection pool for the database. The trace flag, which if turned on (set to 1) will display trace statements. There are other settings for caching, thread pool size etc. These are discussed in detail below.
