What can I bring to the airshow?
Cameras, smiles, and good walking shoes are a must! However, the safety of our visitors, our open house staff, military members, their families, and the resources on Shaw AFB are of utmost importance so security is our top priority. Firearms, knives (including pocket knives and all purpose tools, i.e. leathermans), backpacks, coolers, walkie-talkies, any alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, and large bags are prohibited. However, purses, diaper bags (if accompanying a child), small camera bags, and lawn chairs are allowed but will be subject to search. Please do not bring pets to the open house. People bringing furry friends to the show will not be allowed entry, and will be prohibited from leaving animals in their vehicles.
