What Can Home Automation Do?
A Home Automation system will allow you to automate things you want done on a regular basis or have an action occur when a particular event takes place. For example perhaps you want your lawn watered once a week, you can have your irrigation system programmed to come on at 10:00 in the morning once a week, but only if the moisture sensor says the lawn is dry enough. What about local watering bans? You could also have the option of entering on a touch screen panel watering ban “on” which would override the whole system until you pressed watering ban “off”. In this example the Home Automation system is tying together your touch panel, your watering system and moisture sensors that are in your lawn. The system then allows for feedback from the moisture sensor, and the ban on/off button on the touch panel, before telling the watering system to go ahead and water.
