What can Fitchburg’s children expect from the new library?
The proposed Fitchburg Library will have areas specifically designed to meet the needs of our children. The Library will provide a safe place for school-aged children to gather, whether to study, do research, meet friends, record music or play games. Specially trained librarians will be available to provide assistance and give direction. Younger children will have the opportunity to attend story times while parents browse the collections or make use of the free computers. Careful planning is underway to make the library a very welcoming place for kids!
