What can extreme painful, burning and swollen area in right lower calf be?
I have burning pain in my right lower calf – facing adjacent leg – area! When standing, sitting, driving, and sometimes even lying down it just starts hurting and burning. It has been going on now for over 5 years after I had a c-section with my 4th child in 2/2004. I am only 113 lbs so I am sure it’s not because I am over weight. I walk and exercise at least 4 days a week. Sometimes the pain is so great I have to grab my leg and pull it up behind me to get to slow down, it also has a swollen area or lump that is very noticeable if your looking at my legs together, more swollen when burning is going on. When it’s not painful it’s not that noticable but still there (I can see it). Happens several times a day. It has to be something with the veins or artery in my right leg. I also sweat at night and sometimes during the day, cold after I eat and have to lie down – When I lie flat on my back my right arm and right extremities go numb. What can this be?
